    Explanation of data protection
    You can normally call up all Internet pages of SPIE SAG GmbH without giving information about your person. If your name, address or personal data is required in individual cases you will be notified of this beforehand. Your person-related usage will only be used in as far as it makes it possible to make the service of SPIE SAG GmbH as comfortable as possible and improve it for you.
    If you decide to send SPIE SAG GmbH personal data over the Internet so that e.g. correspondence can be dealt with or an order can be carried out then this data will be handled carefully according to the stringent regulations of the Bundesdatenschutzgesetzes (BDSG).Through the call-up of the Internet pages, SPIE SAG GmbH receives usage data which is stored for backup purposes and possibly allow an identification (for example IP address, date, time and viewed pages). This data is evaluated by SPIE SAG GmbH to get to know the user behaviour and to draw up statistics. Here all measures of the high security standards of the Teledienstedatenschutzgesetzes (TDDSG) and the Datenschutzverordnung fr Telekommunikationsunternehmen (TDSV) will be observed. No person-related exploitation will take place. The statistical evaluation of anonymised data records remains reserved.

    SPIE SAG GmbH will not be held liable for damage, in particular, not for direct or indirect consequential damage, loss of data, lost profit, system or production outages arising through the use these Internet pages or the download of data. If arising damage occurs through the use of the Internet pages or the download of data due to intent or gross negligence liability disclaimer does not apply. The contract arising through the use of Internet pages between you and SPIE SAG GmbH is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For litigation with merchants arising from the use of these Internet pages, the jurisdiction is that of the registered office of SPIE SAG GmbH in Offenbach.

    Dissemination of person-related information to third parties
    If data should be passed on to a service provider for contract data processing then it will be bound by the BDSG, other legal regulations and contractually to the privacy policy of SPIE SAG GmbH. In as far as SPIE SAG GmbH is legally or per court order obliged it will pass on your data in the requested scope to the authorised parties.
    SPIE SAG GmbH will not pass on your data to third parties for other purposes without your written consent.

    SPIE SAG GmbH saves your data on specially protected servers in Germany. Access to these is only possible for a few persons, authorised by SPIE SAG GmbH, who are entrusted with the technical, business or editorial supervision of these servers.

    Right of retraction
    If you request SPIE SAG GmbH not to use your person-related data for further contact and/or to delete it then this will take place. Data that is absolutely necessary for order processing or for business purposes are not affected by a cancellation or deletion.
    Please have understanding for the fact that, in the case of a retraction, the personalised service can no longer be performed because it is based on the use of customer data.

    Use of Cookies
    Text information is collected in cookies during an online session and stored in a special file in ASCII format (cookie.txt) on the user's hard disk. Where the cookie is stored for the user is controlled by the user's WWW browser. Cookies are information, which is sent back to the server on the next online visit. They can only be read by the respective server that previously stored them.
    SPIE SAG GmbH only uses cookies when they are absolutely required for the user function or to make the navigation of the web site easier. The information is not made available to any third parties because cookies can only be used for the purposes above.
    Most browsers are setup so that they automatically accept cookies. However this function can be deactivated in the browser at any time. You can set your browser so that it informs you as soon as cookies are sent.

    Mandatory cookies

    Basic storage of session data (session cookie). These data are a mandatory requirement for different modules such as user login, the product finder, language selection.

    Our website uses Piwik, a so-called web analysis service. Piwik uses cookies by means of which the information on usage collected (including your abbreviated IP address) is transmitted to our server and stored for analytical purposes, which helps us to optimise our website. During this process your IP address is immediately made anonymous, so that you, as a user, also remain anonymous.
    If you do not consent to the data from your visit being stored and analysed, you can prevent storage and use of that data at any time with a simple click of the mouse. In this case a so-called opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser, as a result of which Piwik will not collect any session data. Warning: If you delete your cookies this will also result in the opt-out cookie being deleted and you will need to reactivate it if necessary.
